Beckett at Reading 2006 : Conference
Between March and June 2006, the Beckett International Foundation in Reading hosted a series of events to celebrate the centenary of Samuel Beckett’s birth.

The Beckett International Foundation and the Department of English and American Literature hosted a major international Conference on Beckett. Invited plenary speakers and scholars from across the world addressed recent trends in Beckett Studies and mapped out future areas of research. Speakers included: Jim Knowlson, Chris Ackerley, Enoch Brater, Mary Bryden, Dirk Van Hulle, Angela Moorjani, John Pilling, Antonia Rodriguez-Gago and Therese Seidel. Selected papers from the conference have appeared in Samuel Beckett Today / Aujourd’hui 18 (2007).
